Night of the Refugee
The Night of the Refugee is our biggest annual event. Every year, thousands of participants across major cities in the Netherlands walk 10, 20 or 40 kilometres trough the night. Together, we raise awareness for refugees and raise as much money as possible for emergency aid around the world.

From walking to lifesaving aid
Every year, all donations raised through the Night of the Refugee are distributed across a range of emergency aid projects. In 2026, 10,000 participants raised €2.1 million, helping us provide emergency assistance in Somalia, Ukraine, Afghanistan and Lebanon.
